About Morales Consulting

Morales Consulting is a Latine and LGBTQ-owned social sector consulting firm that partners with mission-driven organizations to drive equitable growth, organizational effectiveness, and lasting impact. Founded in 2021, the firm works with foundations, nonprofits, NGOs, and social enterprises across the United States to address complex societal challenges and improve outcomes for communities through people-centered, evidence-based solutions. Morales Consulting operates with a core team of three full-time staff, complemented by a trusted national bench of independent consultants.

Our work spans diagnosis through implementation, combining research, strategy, and practical delivery. We believe lasting social impact requires analytical rigor, cross-sector collaboration, and deep respect for lived experience. This belief shapes how we partner with clients and how we translate insight into action.

Morales Consulting brings a results-oriented approach that blends our core service areas of strategic planning, philanthropic strategies, and equitable human resources practices. Across engagements, we are known for our rigor, clarity, and ability to turn bold visions into practical, implementable solutions.

Morales Consulting has partnered with a reputable portfolio of national and local clients, stewarded over $150 million in philanthropic investments through prior and current work, and supported organizations at pivotal moments of growth and change. Client work led by the firm has been featured in media such as Forbes and recognized with industry awards.

Role Overview

The Consultant is a core client-facing role at Morales Consulting, supporting and leading engagements that help mission-driven organizations strengthen systems, advance equity, and deliver lasting impact. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role works across strategy, research, facilitation, and implementation to translate complex social sector challenges into practical, decision-ready solutions.

This position is designed for professionals who thrive in systems-level work and are comfortable with indirect pathways to impact. Rather than delivering frontline services, Consultants influence change through advising, design, and implementation support, helping organizations balance mission-driven goals with operational, financial, and regulatory realities. The role carries meaningful responsibility and requires sound judgment, ethical clarity, and accountability, recognizing that consulting recommendations can have long-term consequences for communities and organizations.

Consultants at Morales Consulting are trusted partners to clients. They engage directly with senior leaders, boards, funders, staff, and community stakeholders, often earlier and more deeply than in larger consulting firms. The role blends analytical rigor with facilitation and execution, supporting clients not only in designing strategies but also in translating those strategies into tools, systems, and operating practices that can be implemented and sustained over time.

  • Support clients in balancing mission, equity, feasibility, and sustainability in strategy design.

Facilitation and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Design and support meaningful stakeholder engagement processes that surface diverse perspectives.
  • Facilitate meetings, retreats, trainings, and convenings with staff, leadership, boards, funders, and community members.
  • Navigate differing levels of power, influence, and urgency with clarity, diplomacy, and care.
  • Support alignment and shared understanding across stakeholders with competing priorities.
